Sandwich Artist While a sandwich artists main responsibility is to make sandwiches for customers, other job duties include preparing work stations, answering questions about the menu, and seeing to the cleanliness of Subway locations. All applicants for this position must be at least 16 years of age. No real experience is necessary to work as a sandwich artist. Sandwich artists are paid hourly around minimum wage, or about $ 8 an hour.
Management Work in management as a shift leader, assistant manager, or manager. Shift lead positions supervise and train employees. Managers are responsible for hiring new employees, communicating with the corporate office, and handling administrative duties. Other job duties involve resolving workplace conflict, attracting new customers, and seeing to the overall satisfaction of guests and patrons. Shift lead positions generally make around $ 9 to $ 10 an hour, while managerial positions come with salary in excess of $ 35,000 a year.
