I teach a lot about article marketing and what a great way it is to generate traffic for your business. It really is one of the best internet marketing strategies going because it allows you to leverage your time. But a lot of people freak out when they hear article marketing because they hate to write.

First, I'm going to tell you that a lot of the reason people hate to write is because of high school English...they are afraid that their 10th grade composition teacher is going to be looking over their shoulder as they write-or they will get it back from the directory with a lot of red ink all over it!

Look, let me put your mind at ease...it is not all stiff and formal. You aren't writing for Time or O Magazine! I hope this will take some of the pressure off! You do want to put a good foot forward because it does have your name on it, but if you know your stuff...that is what really matters.

You want to have good content that people are interested in...if you provide that, they will forgive a lot of other sins. Plus articles are short! We're talking about 400-600 words...that's one page! So it isn't that tough.

That being said, there are some people who really do hate to write. There are lots of ways to get content...you can use transcripts from a teleseminar you did for example. One of the ways I want you to steer clear from is PLR, Public Label Rights products.

I know you will hear other people say otherwise, but they are pretty much worthless! As soon as they get spidered for the first time, there are pretty much done. The first submitter gets credit for it. After that you have a duplicate content issue because now we've got 25 or 45 or a 105 or a 1,005 or 5,005 people who are all putting the same articles out there and trying to take credit for it. Everyone after that first submission is automatically disqualified.

The other reason I am against PLR is it is not you. It isn't about your stuff. It isn't unique and it isn't going to build you a strong following.

So just don't use them. They're a waste of time, waste of money, and I've never heard of anyone making a million dollars from private label right articles-except the people selling them.

On the other hand you can hire someone to do the writing for you...I mean, that's a different story.

Finding writers is great. There are lots of places you can find artists... elance.com, Craigslist, Twitter. You can Google ghost writers and find people that way too. The goal with hiring a writer is to work with that person long term. Hire people who can help you find your voice and really speak for you.

Now a lot of people who hate to write love to talk! So another option is to speak your stuff. Record it and get it transcribed. Then hire an editor who turns that into articles. That way it is still really coming from the heart and coming from you in some way shape or form!
